Job summary

Gerrard White Consulting Limited, based in Worthing, seeks an experienced paralegal to join its Commercial Property team and run your own caseload. You’ll liaise directly with clients, from owner-managed businesses to public bodies, taking detailed instructions and delivering accurate results.

You’ll work with supportive colleagues in a flexible hybrid setup, with a focus on client care, professional development and progression opportunities within the firm.

Qualifications

• Commercial property experience in a solicitor's office with own caseload.
• Confident dealing with clients and third parties.
• Ability to extract information quickly and accurately.
• Strong attention to detail under pressure.
• Good IT skills.
• Understanding of the Commercial Property law and SRA Accounts Rules.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently and in a team.

Gerrard White is working with a well-established, commercially successful law firm in the Worthing area that has built a strong reputation for client care. They’re friendly and progressive, and their Commercial Property team is highly regarded. They’re now looking for an experienced paralegal to join the team and run their own caseload, reporting to the Head of Property.

The role

You’ll manage your own commercial property files, working directly with clients, from owner-managed businesses and members of the public to official bodies. You’ll take detailed instructions, act on them and build lasting client relationships, with plenty of support from the team around you.

What you’ll need

• Commercial property experience gained in a solicitors’ office, including managing your own caseload
• Confidence dealing with clients and third parties
• The ability to pick up information from people and documents quickly and accurately
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to stay accurate under pressure
• Good IT skills
• A sound understanding of the law in this area and of SRA regulations, including the Accounts Rules
• Self-motivation and the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team
