Job summary

Clayton Legal is helping a respected Chelmsford law firm expand its Commercial Property team. You will manage your own caseload and support senior lawyers on more complex transactions, handling leases, sales and financing matters within a varied property portfolio.

The role offers hybrid/flexible working with options for full-time or part-time hours, and a competitive salary up to £60,000 DOE, plus parking, pension and life insurance.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' UK legal practice experience in property law.
• Experience in commercial property transactions.
• Strong technical knowledge and client care skills.
• Proactive, organised and commercially minded.
• Confident, able to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage own caseload while supporting senior colleagues on complex transactions.
• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and acquisitions.
• Assist with commercial leases for landlords and tenants.
• Oversee property finance and refinancing matters.
• Participate in development work and planning agreements.

I'm working with a fantastic, well-established law firm in Chelmsford who are looking to expand their Commercial Property team!

What's involved?
