Clayton Recruitment Limited has partnered with a well-established Chelmsford law firm to recruit a Commercial Property Lawyer. You will manage your own caseload, support senior colleagues on complex transactions, and enjoy hybrid, flexible working.
The role covers freehold and leasehold sales, commercial leases for landlords and tenants, property finance, development work and planning agreements, plus title issues and covenants, with a strong emphasis on client care and commercial acumen.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years' UK legal practice experience in property law.
- Experience in commercial property transactions.
- Strong technical knowledge and client care skills.
- Proactive, organised and commercially minded.
- Confident working independently and in a team.
Responsabilités
- Manage your own caseload while supporting senior colleagues on complex transactions.
- Handle freehold and leasehold sales and acquisitions.
- Draft and negotiate commercial leases for landlords and tenants.
- Assist with property finance and refinancing.
- Support development work and planning agreements.
- Resolve title issues, easements and covenants.
