Job summary

Eventus Legal seeks an experienced Commercial Property Fee Earner in Rotherham for a full-time, permanent role. The position offers hybrid working with one day from home per week, a salary up to £50,000 depending on experience, 25 days’ leave plus holidays, and a performance bonus.

You will join a growing commercial property team with dedicated support to manage a varied caseload and deliver practical legal solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience handling non-contentious commercial property matters.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload from instruction to completion.
• Strong drafting and negotiation of leases; knowledge of title issues.
• Experience with landlord and tenant transactions and remortgages.
• Proactive client communications and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Handle a varied commercial property caseload independently and with momentum.
• Advise on freehold and leasehold sales and acquisitions; review titles and enquiries.
• Draft, review and negotiate leases for landlords and tenants.
• Manage landlord and tenant matters including renewals and assignments.
• Assist with remortgages, refinancing and bridging finance transactions.
• Investigate title, review searches and report risks and solutions clearly.
• Liaise with clients, lenders, agents and other solicitors to progress transactions.
• Oversee exchange and completion with the post-completion team.
• Build relationships through responsive communication and practical advice.
• Support the growth of the Commercial Property department.
