Job summary

CRA Consulting is partnering with a prestigious national law firm to appoint a Legal Director for Commercial Property in Sheffield. You will lead a broad commercial property practice, managing high‑quality transactions and shaping client relationships across the firm’s network.

This is a strategic appointment with a clearly defined route to equity, a hybrid working pattern, and a competitive salary of the £80k–£130k band.

Qualifications

• UK-qualified Commercial Property Solicitor with 8+ years' PQE or equivalent.
• Ability to lead complex commercial property transactions.
• Strong client-development and relationship management skills.
• Experience supervising or mentoring other lawyers.

Responsibilities

• Lead a broad range of high-quality commercial property work: acquisitions, disposals, landlord/tenant matters and more.
• Build and maintain trusted relationships with key clients across the network.
• Lead pitches, tenders and business development initiatives.
• Identify cross-referral opportunities across the national business.
• Develop a clear growth strategy for the Sheffield property team.
• Supervise, mentor and develop other lawyers.
• Contribute to departmental profitability and wider firm strategy.
