Douglas Scott Global Recruitment is seeking a Commercial Property Solicitor with 6+ years PQE to advise on a broad range of property matters and drive growth for the team. You will manage transactions from inception to completion, build strong client relationships, and contribute to business development.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentoring junior lawyers, and collaborating with colleagues across the firm to deliver commercially focused advice.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious commercial property lawyer who is looking for a role offering genuine responsibility, client exposure and the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a successful team.

You will play a key role in building and developing the team, strengthening existing client relationships and developing new business, while contributing to the continued growth of our client's commercial property offering.

The Role

You will advise clients across a broad range of commercial property matters, managing transactions from inception through to completion and providing commercially focused, practical advice.

Your experience will include:

• Buying and selling commercial property
• Commercial leases and licences
• Property finance
• Options and overage agreements
• Pre-emption and pre-exemption agreements
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
• Supporting the development and growth of the commercial property team
• Developing relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Identifying and pursuing business development opportunitiesWorking collaboratively with colleagues across the wider firm

Our client is particularly interested in candidates who can demonstrate a proven track record of building and driving a successful team, alongside the ambition and interpersonal skills to develop strong relationships with key stakeholders.

About You

You will be an experienced Commercial Property Solicitor with at least 6 years' PQE and a strong technical grounding across a broad range of commercial property work.

You will also have:

• Strong experience in commercial property transactions
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills
• A commercially minded and client-focused approach
• The ability to manage matters independently and take ownership of your work
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Experience of supervising, mentoring or developing others
• A proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships
• Ambition to contribute to the continued growth of the team and wider firm
