Job summary

ECG Facilities Services is seeking a Commercial Plumbing Engineer to join a mobile team covering the Yorkshire region. The role requires over five years of plumbing/HVAC maintenance experience and a strong understanding of plumbing plant, including unvented water heaters, pipework, drainage, pumps and sanitary ware.

Applicants should have an Approved Plumbing Apprenticeship/NVQ 2/3 and a background in facilities maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Plumbing/HVAC/Maintenance roles.
• Knowledge of plumbing plant including unvented hot water heaters, pipework, drainage, expansion vessels, pumps and sanitary ware.
• Facilities Maintenance background preferred in similar environments.

Responsibilities

• General DIY abilities.
• Maintain on-site log books, permits and site paperwork up to date.
• Work as part of a mobile team; flexible, team player and client-focused.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• General DIY abilities
• Knowledge and experience of all Plumbing plant including, but not limited to unvented hot water heaters, plumbing & pipework systems, above ground drainage, expansion vessels, pumps & sanitary ware.
• To maintain on site log books, permits & site paperwork insuring they are completed and up to date.
• The Commercial plumbing Engineer will be working as part of a mobile team, our client is looking for someone who is flexible, works well as part of a team and is client focussed.

Skills & Qualifications Required

Knowledge & Understanding

• Our client is looking for candidate who has knowledge of Plumbing systems and over 5 years' experience in similar Plumbing / HVAC/ Maintenance Engineer type role.
• Knowledge and experience of all Plumbing plant including, but not limited to unvented hot water heaters, plumbing & pipework systems, above ground drainage, expansion vessels, pumps & sanitary ware.
• Ideal candidates will come from a Facilities Maintenance background and worked in similar environment.

Qualifications

• Approved Plumbing Apprenticeship is a minimum requirement (NVQ 2/3).
