TalkTalk is seeking a Commercial Planning Manager who will be responsible for forecasting and operational planning to support the financial processes of the company. This critical role involves extensive collaboration across teams to drive strategic decisions and ensure alignment with business priorities. The Commercial Planning Manager role is responsible for developing the operational and trading plans which underpin TalkTalk's financial, planning and analysis ("FP&A") process.
Responsible for developing TalkTalk forecast models, interlocking volume plans with FP&A in Anaplan planning software.
Responsible for leading development of TalkTalk's new customer acquisition forecast; from market size, media spend, pricing Vs competitors, through sales to connection and bill payment. You will ensure that acquisition plan KPI are seamless and aligned to business priorities to give an accurate forecast for both online and agent channel sales and costs.
Responsible for the accuracy of network supplier forecasts Vs TalkTalk contractual commitments. Forecast accuracy is measured on a rolling three-month basis requiring close interlock with trading and product development teams.
Responsible for converting the volume plan into supply-chain requirements to enable TalkTalk to manage stock levels and optimise working capital.
Responsible for championing with technology and data-engineering the provision and availability of all data underpinning the planning process. The planning KPI need to be seamless from multi-year budgets through to daily trading KPI actual Vs forecast.
Accountable for ensuring that the volume plans align to the latest product development and technical roadmaps.
Automation of required data into Anaplan planning software.
