JOB TITLE: Commercial Performance Manager – Personal Loans

SALARY: The salary banding is £59,850 - £66,500

LOCATION: Bristol, Cardiff, Chester, Edinburgh, Leeds, Manchester or Newport

HOURS: 35 hours, full time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, involving at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

We are the UK’s number one provider of personal loans, with 24% market share and £11bn of customer balances. We have growth ambitions across our balance sheet, market share, income, and profit over the next four years.

This role is part of the Loans Demand Generation and Trading team responsible for promoting, acquiring, and reporting on personal loan customers across our brands (Lloyds, Halifax, BoS, MBNA), primarily through digital channels.

The team manages financial performance indicators like gross lending, market share, net interest income, margins, and profitability, ensuring safe and profitable delivery within risk appetite.

What will I be doing?
  • Leading trading and pricing performance reviews, analyzing data, and synthesizing insights for discussions.
  • Constructing and communicating performance insights using reporting tools to identify growth opportunities.
  • Analyzing customer, competitor, and market insights to inform strategies.
  • Interpreting external market trends and developing strategies to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Producing forecasts for lending, P&L, market share, and margins, managing the QxF process.
