Job summary

Aspect Resources Limited is seeking a Commercial Officer - DV in Corsham, operating in a hybrid model with 3 days on site. The role covers sourcing through to contract and supplier management on large, complex contracts.

A UK National with CIPS Level 4 or equivalent is preferred, alongside strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills. This 24-month contract includes a daily rate of £580 (umbrella maximum) and an Inside IR35 status.

Essential:

• Sole UK National
• In-depth experience in a commercial / procurement environment, covering sourcing through to contract and supplier management.
• Proven category management experience, with the ability to engage confidently with the market and implement category strategies.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with excellent communication abilities.
• Demonstrated experience negotiating with suppliers to achieve savings and value for money.
• Confident decision-maker, able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Experience working on large complex contracts
• Hold Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) Level 4 qualification or equivalent relevant experience.

Desirable:

• Experience providing commercial expertise to support project teams in achieving approvals and delivering complex procurements.
• Experience leading and managing teams within a commercial or procurement context.
• Public sector experience would be helpful
• Defence sector experience
• Networks and Communications background (not a network expert but has understanding)
