Comxps Ltd, on behalf of a Government Client, seeks an experienced commercial professional for a hybrid Salisbury/Fareham role with occasional site travel. The 22-month contract requires SC clearance and salary will be confirmed on application.

You will lead sourcing, procurement and contract management activities, define optimal commercial approaches, conduct tender evaluations, monitor supplier performance, and apply commercial judgement supported by MCIPS.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial role enabling independent sourcing, procurement and contract management.
• Ability to choose the best commercial approach considering risks and trade-offs.
• Analytical judgement with risk-taking when appropriate.
• Ownership of tender evaluation decisions with commercial judgement.
• Familiarity with supplier performance monitoring and contract management information systems.
• MCIPS certification.

• You have worked in a Commercial role which has enabled you to work independently on sourcing, procurement, and contract management activities
• Identifying the most suitable commercial approach to the circumstance, including assessing the potential trade-offs and the level of risk mitigation required to achieve the best commercial outcome.
• Applying commercial skills and judgement through analysis of evidence and appropriate risk-taking.
• Taking ownership of decisions at tender evaluation stage and applying commercial expertise and judgement accordingly.
• Understanding and applying tools to monitor supplier performance, cost analysis, and contract related management information systems.
• MCIPS
