Job summary

Comxps Ltd. seeks a seasoned procurement professional to lead sourcing, procurement and contract management for a government-contract role in Salisbury/Fareham. The position is hybrid with occasional site travel and requires SC clearance.

You will independently manage sourcing strategies, tender evaluations, and supplier performance analyses, applying robust commercial judgment and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Commercial role enabling independent sourcing, procurement and contract management.
• Ability to identify the most suitable commercial approach with risk considerations.
• Applying commercial judgment through evidence analysis and risk-taking.
• Taking ownership at tender evaluation and applying commercial expertise.
• Understanding tools to monitor supplier performance, cost analysis, and management information systems.

Location: Salisbury/Fareham – hybrid with occasional travel to site

Contracting Authority: Government Client

Contract Length: 18 months

• You have worked in a Commercial role which has enabled you to work independently on sourcing, procurement, and contract management activities
• Identifying the most suitable commercial approach to the circumstance, including assessing the potential trade-offs and the level of risk mitigation required to achieve the best commercial outcome.
• Applying commercial skills and judgement through analysis of evidence and appropriate risk-taking.
• Taking ownership of decisions at tender evaluation stage and applying commercial expertise and judgement accordingly.
• Understanding and applying tools to monitor supplier performance, cost analysis, and contract related management information systems.
