Job summary

Comxps Ltd is seeking a procurement professional in London to deliver end-to-end procurements for a Government Client. The role requires knowledge of public-sector legislation, governance, and frameworks, with responsibility for strategy development, tender docs, and stakeholder engagement.

The successful candidate will analyse pricing and risk, prepare clear recommendations, and manage priorities to meet demanding deadlines.

Qualifications

• Practical experience delivering end-to-end procurements in a complex organisation.
• Solid understanding of public-sector procurement legislation, policy and governance.
• Experience developing procurement strategies and high-quality tender, governance and contractual documentation.
• Experience using public-sector frameworks (Crown Commercial Service) or similar routes to market.
• Ability to analyse commercial pricing and risk information and translate into actions.
• Strong stakeholder-management and influencing skills with constructive challenge.
• Ability to manage priorities and deadlines with limited supervision.
• Clear written, verbal and presentational communication.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Completion of Transforming Public Procurement training or willingness to complete promptly.

Qualifications

• CIPS Level 4 or equivalent commercial qualification, or demonstrable equivalent professional experience.
• At least five years of relevant commercial or procurement experience, including ownership of end-to-end activity.

Essential skills, experience and knowledge

• Practical experience of independently delivering end-to-end procurements or other substantial commercial activity in a complex organisation.
• Sound understanding of public-sector procurement legislation, commercial policy and governance requirements.
• Experience of developing procurement strategies and high-quality tender, governance and contractual documentation.
• Experience of using public-sector frameworks, including Crown Commercial Service arrangements, or comparable routes to market.
• Ability to analyse commercial, pricing and risk information and convert it into clear recommendations and actions.
• Strong stakeholder-management and influencing skills, including constructive challenge and consensus building.
• Ability to manage priorities and demanding deadlines with limited day-to-day supervision.
• Clear written, verbal and presentational communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Completion of Transforming Public Procurement training, or willingness to complete it promptly.
