Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting for a Commercial MET Technician to join a busy, professional bodyshop in Nottinghamshire. The role focuses on maintaining high standards of repair work on commercial vehicles, with a view to safety, efficiency and industry compliance.

The position offers a basic salary of approximately £45,000 per annum, with Monday to Friday hours from 8:00am to 5:00pm and overtime at an enhanced rate. Training opportunities and a supportive team environment are provided.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Commercial MET Technician.
ATA, NVQ or equivalent qualifications.
Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle repair techniques.
Ability to manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines.
Excellent attention to detail and quality of workmanship.

Responsibilities

Carry out strip and refit work on light commercial vehicles (LCVs) and heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) following accident damage procedures.
Diagnose faults and complete repairs to a high standard.
Conduct servicing and inspections as required.
Record job times, materials used, and costs accurately.
Ensure all work conforms to industry standards.
Use the correct tools, parts, and materials for each job.
Maintain safety and quality throughout all tasks.
