Job summary

Bromford is seeking a Commercial Manager to influence contracts, suppliers and partnerships across our housing organisation. You will strengthen strategic supplier relationships and ensure high-value contracts deliver innovation and value for money.

Based in a hybrid role with travel across our Bromford geography, you will lead high-value contracts, manage performance and drive continuous improvement while supporting strategic commercial decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Commercial Manager role within Construction.
• Strong background in national housebuilding, with knowledge of Building Regulations, NHBC and Health and Safety requirements.
• Experience of effectively managing multiple schemes, suppliers and high-value contracts.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Understanding housing repairs and planned maintenance.
• Articulate and confident communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience of leading and managing a team.
• Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
• Desire to progress your career within one of the UK's leading housing organisations.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-value contracts and supplier relationships to maximise value and minimise risk.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies with Service Delivery and Home Investment to improve performance and value for money.
• Lead supplier performance management using data to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
• Support contract renewals, negotiations and the supplier management framework across the team.
• Provide leadership to the In House Construction Commercial Team to build capability and meet business objectives.
