Job summary

Bromford Housing Group is seeking a Commercial Manager to oversee high‑value contracts and strategic supplier partnerships. You will shape commercial strategies, drive value for money and lead performance improvements across the In House Construction Commercial Team.

Role requires strong stakeholder engagement, risk management, and a track record in housing or construction procurement. Hybrid working with travel across Bromford locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Commercial Manager role within Construction or at Senior Surveyor level.
• Knowledge of national housebuilding, Building Regulations, NHBC and Health and Safety requirements.
• Experience managing multiple schemes, suppliers and high‑value contracts.
• Understanding of housing repairs and planned maintenance.
• Articulate communications with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience leading and managing a team.
• Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
• Desire to progress within a leading UK housing organisation.

Responsibilities

• Manage high‑value contracts and supplier relationships to maximise value and minimise risk.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies with other business areas to improve performance.
• Lead supplier performance management using data and insights.
• Lead contract renewals and commercial negotiations; shape best practice in contract management.
• Provide leadership and support to the In House Construction Commercial Team.
