The Opportunity

We’re looking for a capable and ambitious individual to join our London team as a Commercial Manager. This is a great opportunity for someone currently working in a commercial role who’s ready to step up and take on more responsibility.

You’ll be supported by an experienced team while gaining exposure to the full commercial lifecycle — from early-stage cost planning and procurement through to delivery and final account. What You’ll Be Doing

Contract Management

  • Lead all commercial aspects of our design & build projects
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and mitigate commercial risks

Cost Management

  • Implement cost control measures and monitor project expenditure
  • Maintain clear oversight of budgets, forecasts, and cash flow
  • Provide regular and accurate commercial reporting to senior leadership
  • Identify and manage commercial and contractual risks
  • Proactively address issues and develop risk mitigation strategies
  • Support teams to resolve challenges efficiently and professionally

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the key commercial point of contact for clients
  • Maintain strong relationships and ensure clear, open communication throughout the project lifecycle
  • Manage expectations and contribute to client satisfaction
  • Work closely with Project Managers, Designers and the wider Delivery team
  • Offer commercial guidance and help resolve disputes where needed
  • Contribute to a collaborative, solutions-focused team environment

Legal & Regulatory Compliance

  • Keep up to date with relevant construction legislation and industry standards
  • Ensure that all commercial activities remain compliant and professionally executed

About You

  • Proven experience within the Design & Build or wider commercial fit-out sector
  • Proven experience working as a Commercial Manager (ideally 5+ years)
  • Experience of running your own projects with a certain level of autonomy
  • Strong contractual knowledge
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail
  • Ambitious and proactive, with a desire to take ownership and grow in the role
