Job summary

NG Bailey Group Limited in the UK is seeking a Commercial Manager to steer contract management from tender to completion. The role focuses on identifying commercial risks, opportunities, and driving performance across multiple projects in a hybrid setup based out of Basingstoke.

You will lead the Commercial Team, manage NEC3/4 contracts, cash flow forecasting, and monthly reviews to ensure alignment with financial plans and client expectations.

Qualifications

• Experience managing the commercial performance of projects.
• Strong understanding of NEC3/4 contracts.
• Proven leadership of a team.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.

Responsibilities

• Manage NEC3/4 and bespoke contracts across multiple projects.
• Lead and develop the Commercial Team for timely, high-quality delivery.
• Identify Early Warnings and Compensation Events.
• Oversee supply chain contracts and agreements.
• Provide cash flow forecasts and manage financial performance.
• Oversee monthly project reviews and ensure alignment with plans.
• Handle disputes and defects processes with clients and subcontractors.
• Manage invoicing and overdue applications or debts.
• Prepare BoQ, measurements and valuations for applications and final accounts.
