Job summary

NG Bailey Group Limited in the UK is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead contract management from tender to completion. This role combines strategic oversight with practical day-to-day delivery, guiding the commercial team and ensuring frameworks perform at their best.

You will manage NEC3/4 contracts, oversee cash flow forecasts and invoicing, and drive value through proactive risk and opportunities management while maintaining strong client/subcontractor relationships.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in managing the commercial performance of projects.
• Strong understanding of NEC3/4 contract forms.
• Proven leadership in managing a commercial team.
• Proficient in MS Excel and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Manage NEC3/4 and bespoke contracts across multiple projects.
• Lead and develop the Commercial Team for timely, high-quality delivery.
• Identify Early Warnings and Compensation Events and manage risks.
• Provide cash flow forecasts and monitor financial performance.
• Oversee invoicing, debt collection and supplier/subcontractor agreements.
• Prepare BoQ, measurements, valuations and final accounts.
• Support pre-tender reviews and client progress meetings.
