Job summary

Hill & Hill Recruitment Ltd is representing a specialist contractor delivering luxury commercial fit out projects in London. They are seeking a Commercial Manager to oversee the commercial management from pre-construction through to final account.

You will maximise profitability, manage budgets and cash flow, lead procurement activities, and ensure contract compliance, working with Project Managers, site teams and clients to protect margins.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Quantity Surveyor in commercial fit out or similar construction.
• Strong track record on project costs, procurement, subcontractor accounts and final accounts.
• Solid knowledge of construction contracts and risk management.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and financial reporting skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with operations and manage multiple priorities.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field; RICS membership advantageous.

Responsibilities

The Role

About You

• Strong experience managing project costs, procurement, subcontractor accounts and final accounts.
• A thorough understanding of construction contracts and commercial risk management.
• Excellent negotiation, analytical and financial reporting skills.
• The ability to work collaboratively with operational teams and manage multiple priorities.
• A degree or relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline is desirable, with RICS membership advantageous.
