Job summary

Bridgestaff Group is recruiting a Commercial Manager for a leading construction business in Newport, Wales. The role involves overseeing commercial performance across multiple projects while maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have experience as a Quantity Surveyor or similar commercial role, with the ability to manage complex contracts and negotiations in a close-knit team.

This position offers full support and training in the demolition sector, along with an opportunity to join a respected and growing company.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor or in a similar commercial role.
• Strong ability to manage commercial performance across projects.
• Demolition experience is desirable but not essential.

Bridgestaff Group are working with a leading construction business who are looking for a Commercial Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor or Commercial professional (ideally from a main contracting background) who enjoys working in a close-knit team and delivering successful projects.

The role:

You’ll be responsible for overseeing the commercial performance across multiple projects, maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, and driving successful financial and contractual outcomes.

• Managing commercial performance of multiple projects
• Procurement, valuations, cost control, and financial reporting
• Contract administration and risk management
• Supporting delivery from pre-construction through to completion
• Collaborating closely with operational teams and clients
