Morgan Sindall Infrastructure in Bedfordshire is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial delivery on a major rail infrastructure project. You will act as the commercial lead, owning the contract delivery, managing turnover, margins and client relationships, and ensuring robust cost controls and reporting.

The role requires strong negotiation, leadership and communication skills, with experience in complex contracts and infrastructure environments.

• Proven experience in a Commercial Manager position on major infrastructure projects.
• Strong client-facing experience with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Demonstrable success in managing project commercial performance, including turnover and profit margins.
• Experience operating within complex contract environments.
• Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline is desirable but not essential.

We are recruiting for a Commercial Manager to join a major rail infrastructure project in Bedfordshire. This is a unique opportunity to play a leading role in the commercial delivery of a large-scale, high-profile scheme that will leave a lasting legacy within the UK rail sector.

As the Commercial Manager, you will take ownership of the delivery contract, acting as the commercial lead and key point of contact for the client. You will be responsible for driving commercial performance, managing turnover and profit margins, and ensuring the successful financial delivery of the project from inception through to completion.
