About the opportunity

Energy Programmes is one of our newest Business Units, supporting positive change and shaping the future of Nuclear Power. Our teams support projects at Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C, develop SMR technologies, and build Poland's first Energy Power station.

We deliver major programme and project management capabilities throughout the project lifecycle, focusing on safety, quality, and innovation.

Role Overview

As a Commercial Manager, you will support a Design, Manufacturing, and Installation contract for the HPC Turbine. Your role involves interfacing with the Turbine Programme Delivery, Finance, and Legal teams, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring contract performance from a cost, delivery, and quality perspective.

The role reports to the Senior Commercial Manager - Turbine Site Installation within the HPC project’s Supply Chain directorate. Ideal candidates will have experience in procurement and contract management in Aerospace, Power Generation, Engineering, Manufacturing, or Large infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the commercial and contract management of the Turbine Programme
  • Draft and negotiate contract variations
  • Administer contracts through their lifecycle using CEMAR
  • Ensure compliance with HPC’s governance, processes, and procedures
  • Foster high-performing supplier relationships
Qualifications
  • Proven track record in contract administration of large infrastructure projects or similar
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, influencing, and communication skills
  • Experience in regulated environments and procurement processes
  • Knowledge of FIDIC, professional chartership (RICS, MCIPS)
  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience
