Management Accountant

If you have at least three years’ experience in an Accounts role where you’ve taken on a broad range of duties, and you are looking for a step up, this could be a great move for you. I’m working with a highly regarded consultancy firm who truly value their people and enjoy a productive and collaborative environment. The small friendly team works on a hybrid basis with three days a week in the office in Fitzrovia.
What you will do:

Under the guidance of the Financial Controller, take responsibility for a range of financial statements, reports and commentary for 4-5 legal entities.
Work closely with the Financial Controller to streamline and improve policies and processes.
Mentor and supervise the Finance Assistant who is responsible for transactional work
Liaise with key stakeholders and act as a point of contact for finance related queries
Assist HR with payroll processes and queries
Assist with preparing VAT returns and other tax-related documentation

What you will need:

A self-motivated and organised approach to your work demonstrating the ability to juggle multiple tasks whilst maintaining high standards
Strong communication skills and the ability to build good working relationships
Ideally, to have studied AAT, or be working towards ACCA/CIMA but candidates without this, who have relevant experience will also be considered
