Job summary

Ad Warrior Ltd is seeking a skilled Management Accountant for a Grantham-based role with hybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 days at home). The position focuses on monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasting, and providing commercial insights to the leadership team.

You will partner with budget holders, support budgeting and forecasting, and help drive improvements across reporting, controls and month-end processes. Experience with Sage 200 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Qualified or finalist in ACA/ACCA/CIMA (or QBE with relevant experience).
• Experience producing management accounts with strong Excel and analytical skills.
• Experience in cash flow forecasting, working capital management, and business partnering.
• Comfortable with senior stakeholders and turning financial data into actionable insight.
• Sage 200 experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Producing accurate monthly management accounts and supporting group reporting.
• Managing cash flow forecasting, working capital and weekly payment planning.
• Providing insightful variance analysis and management reporting.
• Partnering with budget holders to understand performance and challenge where appropriate.
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting.
• Preparing VAT returns and maintaining balance sheet controls and the fixed asset register.
• Supporting statutory accounts and the annual audit.
• Overseeing elements of Accounts Payable and supporting junior members of the finance team.
• Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, controls and the month‑end close.
• Supporting wider finance projects and systems improvements.
