Job summary

The Compleat Food Group is seeking a commercially minded Management Accountant to join our Nottingham site. You will work closely with operational leaders to analyse financial performance, challenge variances, and drive improvements that support business objectives.

The role requires strong Excel and ERP skills and a proactive approach. Key duties include interrogating site financial performance, producing monthly reports, budgeting and forecasting, balancing sheet reconciliations, and

Qualifications

• Advanced Excel and ERP skills required.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proactive and well-organised with ability to meet deadlines.
• FMCG/manufacturing experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Interrogate site financial performance to inform decision making.
• Monitor and report key KPIs daily and weekly.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting within agreed timescales.
• Prepare and monitor monthly reports and resolve queries promptly.
• Drive cost reduction through manufacturing improvements.
• Calculate accruals and prepayments; perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Forecast and budget site performance annually.
• Forecast capital spend and benefits; track project spend.
