Yolk Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a growing organisation seeking a qualified or nearly qualified Management Accountant. You will move beyond producing numbers to understand what drives performance and influence decision‑making.

You will partner with HR and operations, conduct payroll analysis, reconciliations, budget vs actual analysis, and provide financial insight. This hands-on role offers commercial exposure and opportunity to tell the story behind the numbers while developing business

Qualifications

• ACCA or CIMA qualified / nearly qualified.
• Strong technically across management accounting.
• Confident with reconciliations, analysis and month-end.
• Commercially minded and interested in the bigger picture.
• Proactive, inquisitive and willing to take ownership.
• Someone who can tell the story behind the numbers, rather than simply report them.

Responsibilities

• Payroll analysis – reviewing monthly payroll information and variances.
• Reconciliations – take ownership and ensure numbers are accurate.
• Budget vs actual analysis – investigate variances and explain results.
• Business partnering – build relationships with HR and operations to provide financial insight.
• Commercial business partnering – support the organisation's diversification.
• Stakeholder engagement – attend meetings and translate discussions into insights.
• Add value by identifying improvements and reporting findings.
