Legal Southwest Ltd in Somerset is seeking a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join its busy Dispute Resolution team, handling a broad range of commercial disputes.

We are working with a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Somerset who are looking to recruit a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their busy and successful Dispute Resolution team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor looking to develop their career within a supportive and progressive firm, working on a varied caseload of high-quality commercial disputes.

The Role

You will work closely with experienced members of the team, advising a broad range of clients on commercial and general dispute resolution matters.

Depending on your experience, your caseload may include:

• Contractual and commercial disputes
• Shareholder and partnership disputes
• Professional negligence claims
• Property and land-related disputes
• Debt recovery and enforcement matters
• Business and company disputes
• Alternative dispute resolution, including mediation
• General civil and commercial litigation

You will be responsible for managing your own caseload whilst also assisting senior members of the team on more complex matters where appropriate.

About You

We would be interested in hearing from qualified Solicitors or Legal Executives with previous experience in commercial litigation or dispute resolution.

You will ideally have:

• Experience handling a range of contentious matters
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent client care skills
• A commercial and pragmatic approach
• The ability to manage your own caseload and deadlines
• An interest in developing your career within commercial litigation
