Job summary

Chadwick Nott in Cardiff seeks an experienced Commercial Litigation Associate (2+ PQE) to join a busy regional firm with national reach. You will handle a wide mix of disputes, from contractual and IP matters to partnership and professional negligence claims.

Hybrid working is available, typically 2–3 days in the office. This role offers real scope to develop expertise and to build a profile across high-quality clients while working in a supportive, collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 2+ PQE (or equivalent) in commercial litigation.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Experience with a range of commercial or corporate disputes.
• Interest in procurement work (experience a bonus, not a must).
• Comfortable working with public and private sector clients.
• Great communicator and team player.
• Organised, proactive and confident managing your own matters.

Responsibilities

• Work across a wide mix of disputes from contractual and IP matters to partnership, shareholder and professional negligence claims.
• Involvement in procurement challenges, advising bidders and contracting authorities (helpful but not essential).
• Hybrid working arrangement with typically 2–3 days in the office; opportunities to develop practice and BD.”
