Job summary

JCP Solicitors invites applications for an Associate Solicitor to join the Commercial Litigation team. The role offers flexible location with Swansea-based onboarding, and potential for work from multiple office locations thereafter.

Part-time applications with a minimum of three days per week are welcome. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload, including contractual disputes, shareholder disputes, recoveries work, insolvency matters and more, with direct client contact and

Qualifications

• Foundation in commercial litigation and recoveries work.
• Experience or interest in property-related cases for fixed charge receiver clients.
• Experience or interest in debt recovery and insolvency cases.
• Experience or interest in shareholder and contractual dispute cases.

Responsibilities

• Effectively managing a caseload involving a range of commercial litigation work.
• Working independently and collaboratively with a team of solicitors, legal assistants and secretaries, to achieve excellent client service.
• Building strong relationships with clients and professional contacts including business development and networking activities.
