The role involves advising on litigation, arbitration and ADR, managing a personal caseload, and supporting senior lawyers on high-value matters while developing client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with approximately 4+ years' PQE in commercial disputes.
• Experience handling a broad range of contentious matters, including commercial and contractual disputes.
• Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating with a team.
• Strong client relationship management with a commercial, solutions-focused approach.

I am currently working with a highly regarded national law firm seeking an ambitious Associate to join its Commercial Disputes team, supporting their clients with both cross border and national disputes.

Responsibilities

• Advise and represent clients on a wide range of commercial disputes through litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Manage your own caseload with appropriate supervision, while supporting partners and senior lawyers on complex, high-value matters.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, referrers, and key market contacts.
• Contribute to business development initiatives, including networking events, client seminars, and thought leadership activities.
• Ensure matters are managed efficiently, maintaining high standards of client service, compliance, and financial performance.

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with approximately 4+ years' post-qualification experience in commercial disputes.
• Experience handling a broad range of contentious matters, including commercial and contractual disputes.
• Ability to manage matters independently while working effectively within a collaborative team environment.
• Strong client relationship management skills with a commercial and solutions-focused approach.
• Highly motivated, adaptable, and proactive with excellent communication and organisational skills.
