Job summary

SSQ is seeking a talented disputes solicitor to join its established commercial litigation team in London. The role offers early responsibility, direct client exposure and involvement throughout the lifecycle of complex disputes, including trial preparation and advocacy support.

The successful candidate will bring 3–4 years PQE in commercial litigation from a top firm, strong drafting, analytical and communication skills, and a collaborative approach to develop a long-term career in commercial

Qualifications

• 3–4 years' post-qualification experience in commercial litigation.
• Strong technical knowledge of commercial dispute resolution.
• Experience handling complex, high-value litigation.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of commercial litigation matters.
• Advising clients on a wide range of complex commercial disputes.
• Drafting pleadings, witness statements, applications and other court documents.
• Conducting legal research and preparing strategic advice.
• Assisting with trial preparation and attending hearings where required.
• Working closely with partners and senior lawyers on high-profile matters.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Supporting business development and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
