Zusammenfassung

AJ Bell is seeking a Legal Counsel to join its Legal team and provide practical legal advice to protect customers and the business. Reporting to the General Counsel & Company Secretary, you’ll work across the AJ Bell group and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

You’ll draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, help maintain clear customer terms, research issues, and support regulatory obligations including Consumer Duty.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified solicitor in England and Wales with 3–6 years' PQE in commercial, corporate or financial services regulatory work.
• Strong drafting, advisory and negotiation capabilities with attention to detail.
• Ability to translate complex legal issues into clear, actionable advice for non-lawyers.

Aufgaben

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements.
• Work with Product, Risk and Compliance to develop customer terms and conditions.
• Research legal and regulatory issues and provide pragmatic advice.
• Support regulatory obligations including Consumer Duty in a proportionate way.
• Collaborate with Technology Services and Product to deliver business priorities.
