Job description

We are working with a dynamic technology company seeking a talented Legal Counsel to join their legal team on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercial lawyer with at least 4 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) to play a key role in supporting the business on a broad range of commercial legal matters.

Hybrid working, Birmingham.

The role:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer, partner, and supplier contracts.
• Maintaining and updating precedent contracts and legal documentation.
• Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders across the business, including commercial, sales, procurement, and product teams.
• Providing advice on content to the marketing and sales team
• Supporting the ongoing development of the company’s legal processes and frameworks.

Ideal candidate:

• UK qualified lawyer with a minimum of 4 years’ PQE in commercial law.
• Experience working in-house is essential
• In-house technology or telecom experience is highly desirable.
• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, business-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
