Job description

We are working with a dynamic technology company seeking a talented Legal Counsel to join their legal team on a permanent basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercial lawyer with at least 4 years' post-qualification experience (PQE) to play a key role in supporting the business on a broad range of commercial legal matters.

Hybrid working, Birmingham.

The role:

1. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer, partner, and supplier contracts.
2. Maintaining and updating precedent contracts and legal documentation.
3. Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders across the business, including commercial, sales, procurement, and product teams.
4. Providing advice on content to the marketing and sales team.
5. Supporting the ongoing development of the company’s legal processes and frameworks.
6. UK qualified lawyer with a minimum of 4 years’ PQE in commercial law.
7. Experience working in-house is essential.
8. In-house technology or telecom experience is highly desirable.
9. Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
10. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
11. A proactive, business-focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
