Job summary

Hydrogen Group seeks a Commercial & IP Associate to join its Interactive Media and Tech practice in London. The role involves a broad mix of commercial and IP work for clients across the interactive entertainment industry, including independent developers, start-ups and major studios.

Candidates should have a strong commercial and/or IP background, an interest in games, media or technology sectors, and 2-7 PQE with England & Wales admission.

Qualifications

• England & Wales Qualified.
• Strong commercial and/or IP background.
• Interest in games, media or technology sectors.

Responsibilities

• Advising on IP protection, licensing and exploitation.
• Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements relating to game development and publishing.
• Developing, distribution and publishing arrangements.
• Advising on IP and brand-related matters.
• Advising on emerging technologies, including AI.
• Collaborating with clients across video games, tabletop games and interactive entertainment.
