Takeley, Essex | £40,000-£50,000 Basic + Commission | Permanent

Do you have a successful track record in insurance sales and enjoy building relationships that turn into long-term business?

CKB Recruitment is working with an established insurance agency in Takeley to recruit a Commercial Insurance Sales Executive.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of your new business activity within an ambitious, supportive team. You'll build relationships with business owners and decision-makers, understand their insurance requirements and develop solutions that demonstrate the value of quality cover and personal service.

Experienced account handlers will support the clients you bring on board through their renewals, giving you confidence in the ongoing service behind your sales.

The opportunity

You'll play a key role in growing the agency's commercial client base, focusing on businesses outside the farming sector.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Generating your own opportunities and maintaining a consistent pipeline of commercial prospects.

• Converting prospects into clients through a consultative sales approach.

What we're looking for

An insurance sales background is essential, alongside a proven track record of winning new business. You'll be proactive, commercially aware and comfortable creating your own opportunities.

You’ll also bring:

You’ll also need at least five GCSEs, including English Language and Mathematics, meeting the employer's stated minimum grade requirements.

The package

• £40,000-£50,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
• 5% commission on commercial new business sold.
• 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays.
• An additional day off for your birthday.

• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with a one-hour lunch break. Reduced or condensed hours may be considered for an exceptional candidate.
