Howden Consumer & Local Commercial in Preston is seeking a Commercial Account Handler to build and maintain client relationships, review insurance needs, and proactively secure new business. The role emphasizes excellent communication, precision in documentation, and proactive client engagement.

Hybrid working with a UK-wide client base, you will contribute to renewals, ensure proper coverage, and support the division in achieving retention targets while providing expert insurance guidance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute self-generated new business opportunities within insurer panel.
• Maintain meticulous client records on Acturis and the diary system.
• Produce accurate documentation in line with Howden standards.
• Process adjustments promptly, notifying insurers and managing refunds/returns.
• Cross-sell products across divisions, working with branches and Group Resources.
