Job summary

Sony Interactive Entertainment in the United Kingdom is seeking an innovative Analyst to join the PlayStation Services team. You will deliver data‑driven insights for commercial performance, subscription strategy, and content propositions, using SQL, Python, and visualization tools to inform senior decision makers.

You will partner with stakeholders across GSBO and other groups to build reporting tools, measure initiative impact, and translate business questions into actionable analytics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in an analytics function, ideally within digital entertainment, subscription, media, technology or related digital business.
• Strong technical proficiency with SQL, Python and/or R, plus spreadsheet tools like Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business questions into structured analysis and actionable insights.
• Experience creating data visualisations, dashboards and reports that communicate insights and support decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Support analysis of commercial and content engagement trends across the PlayStation user base to inform strategic decisions.
• Leverage data sources (commercial, behavioral, consumer insights) to evaluate benefit performance and revenue optimization.
• Provide analysis on the impact of KPIs on content engagement and subscriptions.
• Utilise SQL, Python, Airflow, Tableau, Domo to scale data delivery for the Services team.
• Collaborate with GSBO and other teams to deliver business insights using data.
• Work with data teams across SIE to understand tools and contribute knowledge.
