Carlsberg Britvic is seeking a motivated undergraduate for a 12‑month Commercial Industrial Placement in Hemel Hempstead. You’ll work with commercial professionals, supporting plans and analyses for UK retailers and hospitality partners.

The role offers hands‑on experience in a major multi‑beverage business, with structured development, mentoring, and potential fast‑track opportunities into graduate programmes. Salary is £25,000 per year with extensive benefits.

Qualifications

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend an Assessment Centre in 4th February 2027. The process will include interviews, group exercises and presentations.

We are looking for students to join us on 26th July 2027 as part of their university placement year.

About the Role

Our Commercial Industrial Placement offers the chance to gain hands‑on experience within one of our major customer teams, working alongside experienced commercial professionals and some of the UK's biggest retailers, hospitality operators and wholesalers.

With opportunities available across both our On Trade and Off Trade businesses, you'll gain valuable insight into how iconic brands are sold, marketed and grown in a highly competitive FMCG environment.

Depending on your placement, you could support customers across hospitality, leisure and entertainment venues or work with leading grocery, convenience and wholesale retailers. You'll work closely with Account Managers and Commercial teams to help deliver customer plans, analyse performance, identify opportunities and support commercial decision‑making.

From day one, you'll be trusted with meaningful responsibilities and given exposure to real business challenges. You'll gain first‑hand experience of how customer relationships are managed, how commercial plans are developed and how cross‑functional teams work together to drive growth.

Throughout the placement, you'll receive structured support, coaching and development while building the commercial judgement, confidence and stakeholder management skills expected of future Commercial Graduates.

High‑performing placement students may also be considered for a fast‑track route into our Commercial Graduate Programme upon completion of their degree.

• Eligible to complete a 12-month industrial placement as part of your degree programme from July 2027.
• Must have the right to work full‑time in the UK for the duration of the placement, as visa sponsorship is not available for this opportunity.
