Job summary

Carlsberg Britvic offers an industrial placement in the UK, where you will work with commercial professionals across On Trade and Off Trade channels. You will support customer plans, analyze performance, and develop commercial judgement from day one.

The placement provides structured development, mentoring, and exposure to major retailers and brands within a leading multi-beverage company.

Qualifications

• Currently studying towards a degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or a related discipline.
• Must have the right to work in the UK for the duration of the placement.
• Strong numerical ability and data interpretation skills.
• proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Looking for an industrial placement that goes beyond observation and gives you the opportunity to make a genuine contribution? Our Commercial Industrial Placement offers the chance to gain hands‑on experience within one of our major customer teams, working alongside experienced commercial professionals and some of the UK's biggest retailers, hospitality operators and wholesalers. With opportunities available across both our On Trade and Off Trade businesses, you'll gain valuable insight into how iconic brands are sold, marketed and grown in a highly competitive FMCG environment. Depending on your placement, you could support customers across hospitality, leisure and entertainment venues or work with leading grocery, convenience and wholesale retailers. You'll work closely with Account Managers and Commercial teams to help deliver customer plans, analyse performance, identify opportunities and support commercial decision‑making. From day one, you'll be trusted with meaningful responsibilities and given exposure to real business challenges. You'll gain first‑hand experience of how customer relationships are managed, how commercial plans are developed and how cross‑functional teams work together to drive growth. Throughout the placement, you'll receive structured support, coaching and development while building the commercial judgement, confidence and stakeholder management skills expected of future Commercial Graduates. Salary: £25,000 per year Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
