Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is recruiting an Air Conditioning Engineer for the Central Belt region. The role focuses on planned and reactive maintenance of commercial HVAC systems, fault diagnosis, and high‑quality service.

A strong emphasis is placed on client relationships and safety compliance. Ideal candidates hold F-Gas Cat 1, NVQ/C&G in HVAC, a full UK driving licence, and are willing to obtain IPAF/PASMA where needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining commercial air conditioning systems.
• F-Gas Category 1 Certification.
• Full UK driving licence.
• NVQ Level 2/3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Refrigeration, Air Conditioning or HVAC.
• IPAF and PASMA qualifications (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC systems.
• Respond to reactive maintenance call-outs and diagnose faults efficiently.
• Service, repair and maintain air conditioning and ventilation equipment.
• Undertake fault finding and complete remedial works where required.
• Inspect equipment to identify potential issues and recommend solutions.
• Complete service reports and maintenance documentation accurately.
• Ensure all work complies with current health and safety legislation.
• Build strong relationships with clients through professional and reliable service.
• Participate in an out-of-hours call-out rota when required.
