Job summary

Executive Connect LTD is seeking a Commercial Heating Engineer to maintain and repair heating, ventilation and mechanical systems in commercial and domestic properties. The role involves diagnosing faults, replacing defective parts and working to gas safety standards.

You will interpret drawings, work to schedules, and contribute to annual maintenance programmes. The contract is 6 months, 37 hours per week, at £16.90 per hour, with opportunities for further work.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years experience of gas related works.
• Knowledge of gas safety regulations.
• Ability to interpret requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Gas Safety Regulations and related legislation across properties.
• Undertake safety inspections, testing and certification of gas and heating installations.
• Carry out works with gas, heating appliances and air source heat pumps.
• Install full domestic and commercial central heating systems and boiler replacements.
• Work from drawings and specifications.
• Carry out refurbishments/renewals and related repair works.
• Assist in annual maintenance programmes including servicing and part replacement.
