Pertemps is recruiting a Commercial Gas Engineer to service, maintain and repair commercial gas boilers and plant room equipment in London. You will diagnose faults, ensure safe operation, and complete required documentation across a mix of residential and commercial properties.

The role requires proven boiler servicing experience, a full UK driving licence, and strong fault-finding skills. A company van, pension, and health cover are included in the package.

Aufgaben

• Service, maintain, and repair commercial gas boilers and plant room equipment.
• Carry out fault finding and diagnostics on commercial heating systems.
• Commission commercial gas appliances and heating circuits where required.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance works.
• Inspect and test commercial gas installations for gas safety compliance.
• Identify and rectify faults to achieve first-time fixes where possible.
• Complete service reports, certification, and job documentation accurately.
• Ensure all work complies with health & safety and industry standards.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm (37-hour working week)

Since its launch in 2012, the business has continued to grow across the UK and is now looking to expand its London team with experienced Commercial Gas Engineers.

The company delivers installation, servicing, maintenance, and optimisation of commercial heating systems across a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties.

• Energy centres
• District heating and communal heating systems

The Role

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault-finding, and repairing commercial gas appliances and heating systems across a range of commercial and residential sites in London. You’ll work on boilers, plant room equipment, and associated heating systems, ensuring systems operate safely, efficiently, and in line with current regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair commercial gas boilers and associated plant room equipment.
• Carry out fault finding and diagnostics on commercial heating systems.
• Commission commercial gas appliances and heating circuits where required.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance works.
• Inspect and test commercial gas installations to ensure compliance with current gas safety regulations.
• Identify and rectify faults to achieve first-time fixes where possible.
• Complete service reports, certification, and job documentation accurately.
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health & safety and industry standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer working on commercial heating systems.
