Austin Heating & Cooling is seeking a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer to maintain, service, and repair gas systems across a variety of sites. You’ll work independently with reliable support from a down‑to‑earth team and managers, enjoying a stable role and opportunities to develop your skills.

The position requires proven gas engineering experience, relevant gas qualifications (domestic & commercial), and a strong safety mindset. A UK driving licence and willingness to travel are essential.

Responsabilités

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial gas appliances and systems.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs safely and efficiently.
• Installation of domestic and commercial boiler and plant room systems.
• Ensure compliance with gas safety regulations and standards.
• Complete accurate paperwork and reports.
• Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams.
• Represent the organisation professionally on site.

About the role:

As a Commercial Gas Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, and repair of commercial gas systems across a range of sites. You’ll work independently most of the time, with the confidence that support is always available when you need it.

Main duties and responsibilities will include:

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing commercial gas appliances and systems
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs safely and efficiently
• Installation of both domestic and commercial boiler and plant room systems.
• Ensuring all work complies with relevant gas safety regulations and standards
• Completing accurate job paperwork and reports
• Communicating clearly with customers and internal teams
• Representing the organisation professionally on site

Mandatory qualifications:

Gas qualifications Domestic & Commercial including; CCN1, CENWAT, CKHB1, etc. COCDN1, CIGA1, CORT1, CPA1, DAH1, ICPN1, HTR1, TPCP1 and CONGLP1PD LPG Changeover, and preferably plumbing qualifications City and Guilds Level 3, Unvented water regulations G3.
