Happy Heat Limited in Watford/ Bushey area is seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to support a growing portfolio of commercial properties across Hertfordshire and surrounding counties. You can progress toward surveying, estimating, supervision or office-based roles while remaining on the tools if you wish.

We provide consistent, varied projects, a company van and tools, ongoing training and genuine career progression as the business expands.

Qualifikationen

• Proven experience with commercial boilers and plant rooms.
• Gas Safe registration and valid commercial gas qualifications.
• Full UK driving licence and professional, customer-focused attitude.

Aufgaben

• Carry out commercial boiler servicing, repairs and installations.
• Perform plant room maintenance, upgrades and diagnostics.
• Conduct gas safety inspections and testing in commercial properties.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive works.
• Liaise with clients to ensure minimal disruption.

You’ll be working across an exciting and varied portfolio of commercial properties, including schools, healthcare facilities, offices, large commercial premises and complex plant rooms.

Our growing commercial contracts provide opportunities to work on everything from planned maintenance and specialist fault-finding to major plant room upgrades and new installations.

Your work will include:

• Commercial boiler servicing, repairs and installations
• Commercial plant room maintenance, installations and upgrades
• Specialist fault-finding and diagnostics
• Commercial gas safety inspections and testing
• Planned preventative maintenance and reactive works
• Heating controls, pumps, valves and associated equipment
• Commercial heating system installations and commissioning
• Opportunities to work with air conditioning and HVAC systems if suitably qualified

• Experienced Commercial Gas Engineer
• Valid commercial gas qualifications and Gas Safe competency
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Experience working on commercial boilers and plant rooms
• Full UK driving licence
• Professional, reliable and customer-focused attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• F-Gas qualifications and domestic gas qualifications would be a great advantage, but aren't essential.

We’re based in Watford / Bushey, with the majority of our work across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and North / North-West London.

We aim to keep our engineers working locally wherever possible, with minimal travel into Central London.
