Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer to service spray booths for blue-chip clients across the North East. You will perform PPM, breakdown repairs, and occasional upgrades with autonomy on a regional patch.

The role offers door-to-door pay, overtime at 1.5x over 40 hours, a company van and fuel card, with training and progression opportunities within a supportive environment. Newcastle-based with regional travel.

Qualifications

• Gas Engineer with commercial background and Gas Safe registration.
• Full driving licence required for regional travel.
• Based near Newcastle with regional travel.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned servicing and breakdown repair on spray booths.
• Hands-on role including some working at height.
• Undertake a range of associated maintenance work on spray booths.
• Covering a regional patch around the North East.

Are you a Gas Engineer from a Commercial background looking for a varied role working on specialist spray booths for a range of blue-chip clients across a regional patch within a leading company known for looking after and developing their staff who offer door-to-door pay and uncapped overtime to greatly increase your earnings? This industry-leading company are a manufacturer and distributor of spray booths for a broad range of clients across numerous industries including automotive, aerospace and rail. They have seen continual growth in the past 30 years and due to an ever increasing workload are looking to grow their friendly team.

This varied role will see you working autonomously as you carry out a range of PPM in addition to some reactive breakdown work, upgrades and component installation on specialist spray booths. You will cover a regional patch across the North East, working a 40 hour week with any overtime and further travel . This exciting role would suit a Gas Engineer from an background looking to join a leading company who offer specialist training, the chance to greatly increase your earnings and to continually progress to senior roles.

The Role:
