Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer to service and repair spray booths for blue‑chip clients across a regional patch. The role offers door-to-door pay, uncapped overtime, a company van, fuel card and progression opportunities.

Based in Doncaster with regional travel, you will cover a patch along the A1 Corridor, perform PPMs, reactive repairs and installations, and work a 40 hour week with overtime. A full driving licence and commercial gas qualifications are required.

Qualifications

• Gas engineer with commercial experience.
• Based near Doncaster with full driving licence.
• Willing to travel regionally and work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned servicing and breakdown repair on spray booths.
• Perform maintenance and upgrades on specialist spray booths.
• Cover a regional patch around the A1 Corridor (Doncaster to Peterborough).
• Work autonomously, including occasional work at height.

Are you a Gas Engineer from a Commercial background looking for a varied role working on specialist Spray booths for a range of blue-chip clients across a regional patch within a leading company known for looking after and developing their staff who offer door-to-door pay and uncapped overtime to greatly increase your earnings? This industry-leading company are a manufacturer and distributor of spray booths for a broad range of clients across numerous industries including automotive, aerospace and rail. They have seen continual growth in the past 30 years and due to an ever increasing workload are looking to grow their friendly team. This varied role will see you working autonomously as you carry out a range of PPM in addition to some reactive breakdown work, upgrades and component installation on specialist spray booths. You will cover a regional patch- primarily across the A1 corridor, working a 40 hour week with any overtime and further travel . This exciting role would suit a Gas Engineer from an background looking to join a leading company who offer specialist training, the chance to greatly increase your earnings and to continually progress to senior roles.

The Role:

• Carry out planned servicing and breakdown repair on spray booths
• Hands on role including some working at height
• Undertake a range of associated maintenance work
• Covering a regional patch around the A1 Corridor - Doncaster to Peterborough
• Door-to-door pay and generously paid, uncapped overtime (1.5x) over 40 hours

The Person:

• Gas Engineer or similar
• Commercial qualifications / experience
• Based near Doncaster- Full Driving Licence
