Roberts & Prowse is seeking a Commercial Gas Engineer to join its Swindon-based team, working on-site in Oxfordshire and Reading. You will perform gas installations, servicing and maintenance in commercial environments, handling call-outs, faults, safety checks and certification.

Applicants must be time-served with ACS qualifications and hold a full driving licence; CSCS/ DBS are advantageous. Company vehicle, pension and training provided.

Qualifications

• Time served Commercial Gas Engineer with experience in commercial building services.
• ACS Commercial and Domestic Gas Certificates: CCN1, COCN1, CDGA1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1A, CENWAT1, CPA1.
• Full driving licence; CSCS is an advantage; DBS an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Carry out gas installations, servicing and planned maintenance in commercial environments around Oxfordshire and Reading.
• Attend reactive call-outs, diagnose faults and carry out repairs to a high standard.
• Perform gas leak detection, pressure testing, flue testing and gas appliance servicing with certification.
• Complete documentation including Field Service Reports and Gas Safety Certificates; meet deadlines.
• Record materials used, delays and any extra works; liaise with managers on site needs.
• Order parts when required in the absence of senior managers; ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
