Job summary
Roberts & Prowse (Swindon) Limited seeks a Commercial Gas Engineer to join our team in Swindon, covering Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. You will perform gas installations, servicing and fault repairs in commercial environments, reporting to Senior Mechanical Contracts Managers, and ensuring strict safety and documentation standards.
Essential qualifications include time-served status and ACS Commercial gas certificates (CCN1, COCN1, CDGA1, CIGA1, ICPN1, TPCP1A, CENWAT1, CPA1).
Qualifications
- Must be time served as a Commercial Gas Engineer with field experience in commercial environments.
- Proficient in gas installation, servicing and fault finding.
- Excellent knowledge of gas safety regulations and documentation.
- Ability to read specifications and drawings.
- Full UK driving licence and CSCS advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Carry out gas installations and servicing in commercial sites.
- Perform pre-planned maintenance and reactive call outs.
- Conduct gas leak, pressure and flue tests; issue certificates.
- Complete Field Service Reports and safety documentation.
- Maintain high standards and safety compliance.
